His Word:

  • Hebrews 1: 2-4
  • Ephesians 4: 15-16
  • John 14: 6
  • Hosea 2: 16-20

I don’t understand the phrase “pointing people to Jesus.”  What does this mean?  Should I carry a picture of Jesus in my pocket?  If someone is grieving the death of loved one, do I hold up my picture of Jesus and tell them, “Here’s your answer.”  If someone is struggling with depression, do I hand them a picture of Jesus, and say, “This picture will solve all your problems.”

I don’t think people mean that we literally point to a picture of Jesus as the answer.  The answer is that we are to respond the way Jesus would respond rather than merely give worldly advice.  This is because the answers Jesus provide satisfy our soul and spirit.  Worldly advice satisfies only for moment, and then leaves us wanting more (see John 4).  When someone is grieving, we weep with them, just as Jesus wept in John 11:35.  When someone is hungry, we feed them physically and spiritually, just as Jesus did in Matthew 14:13-21.

The difficulty is knowing how to respond as Jesus would in every situation.  In John 5:19-20, Jesus says, “the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.  For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel.”  So Jesus only did what he saw God doing.  Is it possible for us to do only what we see our Father doing as well?

In John 14:6 Jesus says, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”  We usually think this verse refers to salvation, what if this is the way in which we can emulate Jesus by coming to our Father to see what He is doing?

Let’s take a closer look at this verse.  The word “way” in the Greek is hodos.  It means literally a way, road or journey.  Figuratively, it means a lifestyle or the way one lives his or her life.

The word “truth” in the Greek is aletheia.  It means truth.  That’s not very helpful.  Since John is the author of this book, is it possible to decipher what John thinks the truth to mean?  John speaks more about truth than any other Gospel writer.  He calls the Holy Spirit the Spirit of truth.  He calls the words of God truth.   We walk, worship and live in truth.  If you distill the essence of truth to its core, I think that to John truth equals love.

There are three different Greek words for “life” used in the New Testament.  The first is bios, which is our physical life.  The second is psyche which is the life God breathed into us, also known as the soul.  The third is zoe.  This is the highest life that God intended for each of us from the beginning of creation.  Zoe is the word for life used in John 14:6.

Therefore, if we walk in the lifestyle of love, we will attain the highest life God intended for us from the beginning of creation.  What is the highest life?  To love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves.

This leads to another question.  What is love?  Love is more than a feeling.  According to 1 Corinthians 13, love has at least 16 attributes.

  1. Love is patient.
  2. Love is kind.
  3. Love is not jealous.
  4. Love does not brag.
  5. Love is not arrogant.
  6. Love does not act ugly.
  7. Love is not selfish.
  8. Love is not short-tempered.
  9. Love does not keep score.
  10. Love does rejoice in unrighteousness.
  11. Love rejoices in truth
  12. Love bears all things.
  13. Love believes the best.
  14. Love always hopes.
  15. Love endures.
  16. Love never fails.

Putting all the pieces together, I think that pointing someone to Jesus means:

I daily walk in the lifestyle of love, patience, kindness, humbleness, selflessness, long-suffering, truth, believing the best in people and never giving up.  In doing so, I live the highest life God intended for me as a reflection of Jesus who in turn is a reflection of God.  I come through Jesus to God.  So when someone is hurting I don’t need to come up with answers myself.  Because of my relationship with my Father, I see how He views this person and their hurt, and I can respond in the same way.  Sometimes this may mean I sit silently with someone and share their grief.  Maybe it means, I open my Bible and show them how David responded.  It might mean we pray together for advice from our Father.  Maybe I need to push them out of their comfort zone or maybe I need to encourage them to see a professional counselor to deal with deep, roots of pain and anger.

Whatever our response is, it should come from a lifestyle (hodos) of truth (alethia) and love, which leads everyone involved to life (zoe).   This is what it means to point people to Jesus.  It’s simple, but not easy.

– Jessica

  1. How do you point people to Jesus?
  2. How can you apply living a lifestyle of love, kindness, patience, humbleness, selflessness, long-suffering, truth, believing the best in people and never giving up?
  3. Does the answer to that last question involves more time in the Father’s word?
  4. Can you name three people that you can show love to by truth?
  5. After learning hodos, alethia, and zoe, what does zoe mean to you?

Resting Points:

  • Psalm 61:2-3
  • Exodus 14:14
  • Matthew 11:28-30
  • Psalm 55:22
  • Isaiah 46:4

Feeling spiritually, physically, and mentally exhausted? Worn out? Overwhelmed? Worried? Maybe even a little defeated? Wondering how it is even possible to be a Proverbs 31 woman, tell yourself you are a masterpiece, think you have a purpose, talk about how he is more than enough, all while praising him for everything?  I’m exhausted just reading that. If you answered YES to any of these questions, sister YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Let me start by saying most of these emotions are a result of burdens we were never meant to carry- anxiety, worry, fear, unbelief, exhaustion, unworthiness. This was all made perfect through the cross- we pick them up during times of full schedules, insecurities, tricks of the enemy. We begin to see ourselves as a tired crazy haired gal and we forsake our quiet time with the Lord because, honestly, we are too tired to drag ourselves out of bed in the morning and we are not allowing our spirits to be restored.

| Psalm 23:2-3 |

The good news is there is a solution and his name is Jesus. Before we dive deeper just take a few seconds and whisper his name, even in the stillness of a whisper he is there. And he longs for you to pour out everything that is overwhelming you to him.

“From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”                                                                          | Psalm 61:2 |

You might be thinking okay I have been trying this “Christian Lifestyle” for a while and it’s just to much for me, I’m exhausted. Running/Giving Up/Pulling Back is always easier, but it is time to lay our exhaustion at the foot of the cross and exalt our King. We have to push through to get more of Jesus or we will always be exhausted. When we are so consumed in Jesus and who he says we are, we always measure up… We never fall short… Because that sports team we didn’t make doesn’t define us, that load of laundry we didn’t have time to do doesn’t define us, that boy we dated but know we shouldn’t have doesn’t define us. Jesus defines us, and when he looks at us, he sees himself! Wow, we serve such a gracious God!  I think its so easy as a ladies to feel this constant burden to “do everything”, “keep everything up”, “be all he wants us to be” which leaves us exhausted and we completely forget that Jesus just wants us to “be”, be satisfied in him.

At this point you may be trying to come up with an excuse as to why this lifestyle isn’t for you? Or maybe you have been pursuing the Lord for a while now and have grown comfortable and honestly you are okay with that? Just give me a chance to guess some of the excuses you may have used before or are trying to use now:

There isn’t enough time?

I don’t have what she has?

I just cant?

Just to busy?

Where would I even start?

I am not fixable?

I’ve messed up to much?

I am scared?

How many books are even in the bible?

Majority of ladies are task oriented, we plan months out, we know who’s going where at what time before they even know it; but somehow we are always frantic for time and rest.  Life is FULL , I do not want to belittle that, BUT we have to be fully saturated in Christ or we will drown. We are like a dry sponge that hits a spot of water, we will try to “suck life” out of any area that seems to spare an inch. Which will not feed us, it will only satisfy a corner for a little while. We soon will dry out again, but if we are fully saturated in Christ we have no room to suck up anything of the world… only pour out Jesus.

Now you’re probably thinking who is this girl and why is she going on and on about being exhausted? Exodus 14:14 says, “The Lord HIMSELF will FIGHT for YOU, you need only to BE STILL.” So don’t GIVE UP because you’re spiritually, physically, and mentally exhausted it is time to GIVE IN to him. Stop fighting. You might be saying well I don’t even know where to start oyeah I am that girl that has gotten comfortable. Start with truly falling in love with Christ all over again or maybe even for the first time, seek him and he will do the rest. We spend so much time pondering the do’s and don’ts to Christianity that we miss out on the relationship that the Lord wants to have with us. When we choose Jesus he begins to make us more like him and mold us into these beautiful young ladies we’ve longed to be right before our very eyes. So my challenge to you is to fall in love with the creator of the universe all over again… Do you remember the very first time you encountered his presence? Did you know his presence could manifest in your life like that everyday? Falling in love with Jesus is the answer to any question that’s running through your head right now. It is simple, choose to fall in love with Jesus and he will sustain youAnd when you choose to fall in love with Jesus everyday becoming a Proverbs 31 woman is POSSIBLE, being saturated in Christ is POSSIBLE, believing you have a purpose is POSSIBLE.

So frazzled one, fall in love with Jesus.

– Lynlee

 1. What are some things keeping you from fully falling in love with Jesus? Write them down. Tear out the page. And rip it up.

2. Now write down what Jesus defines you as. Read the verses listed. Pray over them. And believe them.

Making Much of Him.

Some Bread to eat:

  • John 3:16-17
  • Ephesians 2: 4-5
  • Zephaniah 3: 17
  • 1 Peter 5: 6-7
  • Romans 5: 2-5

If I’m being transparent right now, I have to admit that I have been frustrated about writing this blog. I’ve been praying for about two weeks for God to reveal what He wants to say to and through me. I haven’t felt like I’ve gotten an answer. I had a lot of really cool concepts in my head but God convicted me and told me those were from me and that I am trying too hard. He told me that powerful points and eloquence had become more important to me than making much of Him. So that is what I am going to do. I am going to spend this post praising the God of the universe, the One who tells me things that I need to hear, the One who will stay with me during my dark times. He is the One who told me to stop seeking things about  the life He gives me and start seeking Him.

Thank you, Father, for Your Son and the Gift of having conversations with You in His Name.

So in photography class this week, my professor said something about Photoshop that literally moved me. No, I wasn’t moved about how amazing of a program Photoshop is- although all of its capabilities are super cool. It revealed something about God to me that blew my mind. My professor said, “I know so much about Photoshop that I know how much I don’t know about Photoshop.”

Since all the things God says about himself is truth, I know that He is the Creator of the universe. And He is Grace. He is Mercy. He literally love. His is our Joy, our Hope, our Rescuer, our Refuge, our Redemption, our Eternity, our Purpose, our Life, and infinitely more. Just this short list will require eternity to wrap my head around.

I give you praise for who You are. I lift your Name high. You are Jesus. You are greater than I and I NEED YOU! Without You, I am nothing. Ecclesiastes says that everything is meaningless without You. It’s really easy to just name off some of the things You are and get lost in the words, but ultimately You are everything. Coming to the realization that without You, I am nothing is not easy. But, I know You are everything and You gave Yourself to me and for me.

The fact that you, Father, are all of this and so much more and still humbled Yourself for me, a sinner, is unfathomable. I am in love with who You are. I am astounded by Your love for me. I am excited for Your plans for me. My heart yearns to know You more and to be like You. Thank You for Your Son, who took my shame and my burdens. Thank You for Your Spirit who tells me when I am wrong, who I am, and speaks truth and promises to me every day. Thank you, God for even thinking to create me and literally considering me…. ME worth dying for. Worth the death of the One who Created me.I am humbled and forever in awe of You. I am honored to serve You. Father, I LOVE YOU!

P.S. This totally doesn’t come close to describing our God, but the cool thing is that even though we cannot fathom all of Him, He still gave Himself to us. So, I plan on spending the rest of my eternity unwrapping an unexplainable Gift from my Father, which is Himself.

– Autumn

  1. Who is God to you? Write that down in your journal. For added bonus, search the Word that helps your statement.
  2. Write out a prayer of praise to Him. You can pick a Psalm and base it off of that, but just tell Him how much you love Him. That may surprise you.

What does it mean to be a Proverbs 31 woman?

We are doing something a little different, why don’t you read the “Points to Ponder” section at the bottom before delving into this post. Promise you won’t be disappointed!

The phrase being a “Proverbs 31 women” has been drilled into my head since I was a kid…and probably yours too. I grew up in a great home, with great parents and I was involved in my local church- so, I heard it often and I knew what it meant…sort of.

I will be 100 percent honest with you, I thought it was a standard that I couldn’t attain. I was never going to be good enough, I didn’t even understand what the chapter meant. I mean, what does it mean that she “seeks wool and flax, and works with willing hands.” I thought it was an overused way to define women of God and it was the peak that I would never reach. I saw people like my own mother and the women of the church exemplify what it meant, but I felt different. I questioned myself.

Will I ever be the woman that is more precious than jewels?

Could I ever be a strong tower for my husband?

Why did I feel so alone?

I prayed one day that God would lead me deeper into His Word, that I wouldn’t just read the words on the surface but that I would truly understand them. And then it happened… I had an epiphany. I understood for the first time what it meant to be a Proverbs 31 woman.

Something that blew my mind, you probably understand this, but I’m going to tell you all anyway! Verses 21-22 says:

When it snows, she has no fear for her household;
for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
    She makes coverings for her bed;
she is clothed in fine linen and purple.

Symbolism,  you are my nemesis. So, let me help you out:

She does not fear the snow because her house is covered in scarlet. What is scarlet? Well it is a variation of red. What else is red? Blood. They are covered in the blood… WHAT?! They are covered in the Blood of the Lamb. She isn’t afraid because her family trust and believes in Jesus! HUZZAH!

And the purple… Purple in olden days signified royalty. Why? Because the dye came from mollusk in a region of the Mediterranean Sea. It took over 9,000 mollusk to make 1 gram of dye… Yes that is… 9,000 mollusk per gram. So you can imagine how expensive that would have been. So expensive that only royalty could afford it.

Just to compare: 1 Ounce equals around 28 grams. In a normal bottle of water there are 16.9 ounces of water, so it has a mass of 500 grams.

That’s a lot of grams and a lot science.

Back to what purple signifies… And why she is clothed in it. It shows that she is Royal. Not because of her last name or her political standing, but because she is the daughter of the Most High King! She is the daughter of God! Thank You Jesus!! As over used as it might sound I am a Princess and so are you. #princessstatus

What is a “Proverbs 31 Woman”?

  • She is slow to speak; quick to pray.
  • She is dressed in the armor of God. v.17
  • She is covered in the blood of Jesus. v.21
  • She is the daughter of God. v.22
  • She doesn’t worry. v.25
  • She is full of Joy. v.25
  • She is wise and kind. v.26
  • She loves God and she loves people.

Sometimes I can get caught up in being a people pleaser. I want to do everything right and not hurt anyone’s feelings. I often get validation in what people said about me. On the flip side, when someone would say something negative it would send me into a whirlwind of self-conciousness. Can I let you know how silly that is?! I will never do everything right, why? Because I am flawed, but I have a good GOOD Father that never fails me. And I think above everything what a Proverbs 31 woman is, is a woman who trust God in every part of her life. She trusts Him with her finances, marriage, CHILDREN, and she trust Him with her heart.

So my prayer is that I trust God with my heart, and that you would too. It is easy to say but it is harder to truly believe it. But I do. No matter what this crazy life brings I will trust God and I will sit at His feet and breathe Him in. He brings me so much peace. His son after all is the Prince of Peace… so therefore that makes Him the King of Peace!

So come and sit at the feet of Jesus.

Let strive to be women of strength, prayer, and faith.

Points to Ponder:

  1. Read Proverbs 31… Yes the whole chapter it isn’t that long.
  2. Before reading the chapter pray that God reveals a new understanding to you. It will kind of blow your mind.
  3. Then journal what you want to apply to your life.

    After you read:

  4. What do you think a Proverbs 31 woman is?
  5. Did reading this give you a feeling of being a Wonder Woman of God? (Weird analogy, I know…)
  6. And tell us what you think about it! Comments, email, Instagram, and Move Group is a great way to get in contact with us!

He is more than enough for me.

The Lord gave me an idea a few months ago to create a group that was a diverse group of ladies. I wanted different ages, races, social classes, parts of town, and anything else that would set us apart. Because, through all of our differences we get the privilege to gather under one Name. But, I thought this would be just in our hometown. Never did I think that I would be speaking of the Lord’s goodness with ladies a world away. Ladies that are brave, strong, and broken. This particular sister has every reason to run from the Lord, but from Him she draws strength. I have no idea where you are in this season, princess, but the Lord is faithful. God is for you. He is near. Take a moment to read yet another documentation of His goodness.

– Bre

Once upon a time, there was this lovely little girl who’s a product of sin and grew up with her grandmother who became like a mother to her. Her mother has her own family, she has six half siblings.

She was sixteen when her grand mother died.

She was in high school at that time, and her mother promised her to send her to college, After the first semester, she was obliged to come home. Her mother told her, she can no longer sustain her tuition fee. Filled with frustration, disappointment, and a need of money- she decided to find her biological father (whom she never met), so that she could continue her college education.

She moved to a new city and began to work as a nanny to make ends meet while still searching. Three months passed and she finally found him. She’s so happy to finally be reunited with her father and his whole family after long years. She thanked the Lord, He blessed her with a good, very loving, and supportive father. Being with him at that time is the best moment of her life. She felt loved and secured. When she got back to her mother’s home town to process all her documents to finally get back to school, her sister called with a bad news that changed her life. Her father died.

That’s the turning point of her life that made her asked God “why did He do this to me?” All her dreams suddenly crashed before her that left her hopeless, helpless, unprotected, and vulnerable.

Unconsciously, it left a hole in her heart that made her long for love, without guidance she thought a man can fill it…she entered into many wrong relationships and engaged in premarital sex until she got pregnant by this one man…She doesn’t know where to start because she messed everything up. But then, she made an important decision that will change her life, she decided to continue the pregnancy.

Three months into her pregnancy, she found out that her boyfriend is involved with several relationships with different women… and he also got most of them pregnant. She was crushed. But that became a time that her relationship with God became refined. She had a shattered faith that the Lord was has piecing it together like a mosaic. She decided to put God in the center of her life. She asked God’s forgiveness. She began to live life guided by the Lord and under His control. She gave birth to a very beautiful little angel sent straight from Heaven’s door- very smart, adorable, and pretty. The baby girl is her life. She named her Dabbie Gabrielle named after one of God’s angel because she’s really an angel to her.

Her daughter has Congenital Heart Disease(CHD), Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) and she was in need a transcatheter device closure. She had a weak set of lungs that could develop high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs or an infection of the inner lining of the heart and could develop into a heart enlargement if the PDA does not close. She struggled to raise the money for her daughter’s surgery, but she did along with a strong community. But then, with God by her side, the procedure went smoothly.

It’s been one and a half year since her daughter’s cardiac catheter procedure and in behalf of her daughter Dabbie Gabrielle, she’s very thankful to those who prayed, to those who are very generous and kind-hearted enough support to her during the days.

She was pleading for  help. She can’t named them all, but it has really sent a buzz through the entire life of Dabbie. And, to the most amazing and indescribable God that she had ever known in her entire life, who gave her daughter’s second life; a God who made miracle in their lives. She’s nothing without JESUS who died on the cross for them just to save their lives.

Now, this girl who overcome all those challenges in life,  is ME!
I am Domilyn Madlangbayan: 28 years of age, single mother of a 4 year old daughter, never been married, and willing to spend my life to serve the Lord forever!

I’m not searching for any particular end point, however. All I want is to be happy, to live a life that focuses more on the good than the bad (though, I do believe you need both to have a happy life).
On this road — this twisting, turning road to happiness — there have been many ups and downs. There have been challenges. There have been inspirations. There have been many amazing experiences that I never would have had if I had not made the choice to live a positive and happy life with God.

Recently, as I struggle to be positive about certain challenges in my life, I’ve been giving some serious thought on how I can transform my outlook from negative-focused to a more positive-focused one. ( I don’t always see the good. Like everyone, I have good days and bad days, but, for the most part, there has been a BIG shift in my attitude over the past year or so).
Though I have to admit that there are many factors involved in my personal development —God, my daughter, my job, my family, friends, surrounding myself with happy, and supportive people, I can say that, at the most basic level, choosing to be positive and obeying God’s plan has helped me a lot in terms of becoming the person that God wants me to be.

And I intended to spend the rest of my life loving, praising, worshipping, and serving Jesus in my lifetime. I know, whatever comes my way everything is going to be okay, knowing that I have a GOD who is in me, with me, and before me! God said, “I will be faithful to those who are faithful to me.” And that is enough for me. He is more than enough for me.

Our sweet sister from the Philippines.

Tell us about you! We want to know you, so get in touch with us at:

You are His Masterpiece.

Verses to consider:

  • Romans 8: 37-39
  • Isaiah 52: 7
  • Matthew 3: 17
  • Ephesians 1: 5-7

There is nothing wrong with makeup, tanned skin, nice threads, or perfect hair. There is nothing wrong with Instagram likes, Twitter favorites, or Facebook comments. There is nothing wrong with having a boyfriend (if it’s a healthy relationship). There is nothing wrong with any of these things but… what would happen if they were all taken away?

Would you still feel beautiful and confident? Is your worth outside of the worlds validation?

Think about the things that make you feel most beautiful. What are they and how much do they cost?

And, is what God says about you at the top of that list?

That last question is important and I want you to answer it truthfully. Outside of this world, with its magazine covers constantly spilling over with beauty tricks and tips and photoshopped models who are considered perfect, do you know your worth? When someone says to you that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, do you truly believe it? When you read about what God says about you, do you actually accept it? Could Gods love for you and His validation be enough?

Today, I want to remind you of what He says and I want you to walk in His validation- I want you to start making the choice to be content with knowing that God says you’re enough.

God loves you.

It’s such a simple phrase, but do you walk in it? He loves us more than our parents, our friends, and your boyfriend.. He loves every part of you, even the parts you hate about yourself. Here is one of many verses that God says about His love for you.

“Despite all these things, overwhelming VICTORY is ours through Christ, who LOVES us. And I am convinced that NOTHING can ever separate us from God’s LOVE. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s LOVE. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the LOVE of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 8:37-39 (NLT, emphasis mine)

Look back over that passage, let’s put it into another context in relation to beauty. The devil loves to lie to us about our beauty. He likes to whisper to us when we look in the mirror saying, “My my.. You’re too fat to be loved.. Who could love someone so ugly? You’re not beautiful like those other girls. You need to cover that face up. Without makeup, no one would like your face.” But notice.. Notice how Romans says, “Despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours.” Despite all the flaws we see in the mirror, despite all the lies the devil whispers in our ear on a daily basis, we have OVERWHELMING VICTORY! We win! Through Christ LOVE for us, we overcome the negative self image. We overcome and walk in the beauty that is the love of our Heavenly Father. Nothing can separate us from that love. Not our acne, not the anxiety that caused it, not our insecurities, nothing, nada, zip. Being loved brings validation. Being loved makes us feel beautiful. When we realized how much we are loved we begin to realize how truly beautiful God made us to be.

You are valuable. You have a worth that goes beyond your human understanding. “For God so loved the world that He GAVE His only son.” -John 3:16

If you didn’t have worth, why would God give something so precious for you? Why would He send His son as payment for your heart and your life if you didn’t have any value? He wouldn’t! He made you, He sees you, and He saw you to be so valuable, so beautiful, so talented, so worth loving that HE HAD TO HAVE YOU!

Do you see it? Can you feel it yet? You have worth and value that goes beyond that of a coin, a boys flattery, a mere like/favorite on your selfie, you are worth SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT! The next time the devil tries to degrade your value, you remind him of the price that was paid for you! It was a sacrifice that cannot go unnoticed for it was a sacrifice of three nails, a crown of thorns, a bloody cross, and the keys to Hell. That, that is the ultimate price to pay. You. Have. Value. It sounds cliche and so Christianese but you are worth dying for.

Lastly, you are beautiful. You are so beautiful. You’re not just beautiful because you are loved, you’re not just beautiful because you have value, but you are beautiful because you were created by the hands of God and in His image. “So God created human beings in His own image..” Genesis 1:27. It might be a bit bold for me to say this but, when we stand there in the mirror body shaming ourselves.. Are we not then shaming the image of God? Convicting thought for me! It’s difficult for me to write it down because it hits me square in the face. How many times do we stand in front of the mirror and comment about our “thunder thighs” or our “uber long torsos” or our “short stubby legs” or “arm flab” or “back fat” or “insert problem here”…? How often do we look at what God has made, what He has designed after His own image and call it a plethora of negative names? You are beautiful because God made you that way. You are beautiful because He designed you from His own blueprint.

I know I already said lastly, but there was one more point I wanted to make. I pull it out from Isaiah 52:7,”How BEAUTIFUL on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings the Good News, the good news of peace and salvation..” When we understand how much God loves us, we come to the understanding of the value we have through Him. When we understand that we are made in His image, then we begin to seek to be like Him. Being like Him means having a heart after His own heart. Going back to the verse, it has been in my experience that the most beautiful I ever feel is when I’m walking out my God given Calling. When I am sharing the good news of Gods everlasting love in the way He designed me to, I feel completely whole.

Wholeness brings confidence that the life we are living is worth something. That confidence cannot be shaken through the outward appearance because it is so deeply rooted in our souls that we begin to care less about the outward appearance. The beauty of a life and heart set on fire for God shines so much brighter than any worldly man made beauty. Find your calling. Walk in wholeness. Know you’re beautiful and accept it. Understand the depth of your value and always remember that you are loved.

  1. Write down what makes you feel beautiful.
  2. Take a moment to consider if these things were taken away from you, how would you feel? (I know I feel naked without my nails painted, so that’s hard for me too!)
  3. Write these Scriptures on your mirror, hang them in your closet. Somewhere where you are reminded of your worth before you go out and seize the day. YOU ARE A DAUGHTER OF THE MOST HIGH!
  4. Know this much, you are so so so loved and the Lord sees you as His daughter, whom He is well pleased. Take 5 minutes to tell an absolute stranger how valuable they are- I think you will be overwhelmed by the response you will receive.

Jesus, you gave us some cool friends.

One of my best friends once said to me, “I never want to be a person that sees something wrong, allows the Holy Spirit to stir in me, and then do nothing about it.” That’s a phrase that I will always repeat to myself when I see anything about sex trafficking. Today, maybe at this very moment, there is a girl enslaved.  She feels hopeless, dirty, and worthless. You and I both know that she is a jewel and that she is so WORTH the fight. Will you pray with me? That this sweet beautiful girl will one day live in a freedom that she has never experienced. A freedom found in our awesome Father!

“You may think you’re a slave,

but your freedom already bartered,

O, my beloved.”

Some sweet friends of mine are using their talents and gifts to raise awareness to this issue. Sex trafficking may or may not be that passion the Holy Spirit is using to stir your soul. Maybe it’s homelessness, the fatherless, or the abused. Just do something. Matthew 21:3 says, “If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away.” So, I am going to ask you a question. Are you who the Lord sends? Someone is carrying something behind their eyes, I want you to show them that our Father’s burden is light.

Freedom Trade is an organization that aids in the prevention of exploited women primarily in India, and great friends of ours! Check them out, buy a key, donate, and always pray. You can find them at:

Notes about Brad’s song:

He shows us this song and we really wanted to know how this amazing song was born and we got a beautiful response. Our only reaction was to worship Jesus and soak our hearts in this amazing truth. Brad told us that he was playing and the Lord, “kinda just started giving me those words.” He asked the Lord who this song was for and the Father said:

“This is from Me to my daughters in bondage and anyone else that doesn’t now their value.”

Then Brad says, “so He gave me this as a personal letter to them.”

I don’t know who this is for- but, sweet child, He has a purpose for YOU. You may have been called the “uh-oh” your whole life- NO, He already knew you and you are His child. He knit you in your mother’s womb, and He is now standing at the end of your life. Isn’t that cool? He loves you more than you could ever comprehend and so do we. Now, go show a taste of the Father’s love to others, child of Jerusalem.
